Bats are nocturnal creatures which means they're active at

night. A bat's roost is where the bat sleeps during the day.

Roosts are often trees, caves, attics or man made bat houses. Bats

are found on all of the continents except Antarctica. All bats live

where they have an ample supply of the kind of food they eat.

Fish and frog eaters would roost near a pond. Fruit and nectar

eaters would near trees.
