Rocks & Minerals

Rocks and minerals are easy to find, and hard to avoid. Sometimes you see rocks on the side of the road. You see rocks in a stream, pond, river or lake. Big rocks are called boulders. Especially small rocks are called pebbles. Rocks and minerals come in a lot of sizes and shapes. Some seem perfect squares while others are circles. Some don't have any shape at all!
