    No, the shoebill stork is not a rock star. It can’t sing. It can’t talk. You are guessing, is it  a mute ?  You are right !  It clacks its beak to find a mate or make a warning call. The stork loves to eat African lungfish, and prefers to dine in swamps and marshes in Sudan. The discovery of the shoebill was around the 1850’s in southern Egypt along the Nile River.
