We believe that parents have few rights and a lot of responsibilites.  It is the children who have the rights in the family.  It's the responsibility of the parent to protect the rights of the child until the child gets to an age where he/she can protect himself.  Parents have the right to have children and to take care of them and not to harm them.  Every child should be wanted, loved, and cared for.

    It is also a parent's responsibility to see that the child is protected physically.  The parent needs to see that a child's special physical needs are met.  Parents must provide the care for their child, for food, clothing, etc.  Parents need to protect the child from violent or illegal acts of others.  Nobody in the family should be cruel to the child just because he/she is different.  A parent should help the child exercise and stay healthy.  The parent also needs to see that a child's special educational needs are met.
