The last thing what Thomas Jefferson wanted to do is build U.V.A., University of Virginia. The University of Virginia is one of the oldest school in the United States. It is one of the largest school, too.  

The famous dome at the University of Virginia burnt down in the 1700's. It was rebuilt. In the dome there is a library. If you look up at the dome from the inside, you could hardly even see the details at the top. 

University of Virginia has 360 Degrees for people to chose to study. The school of School of Art ,Science, and Law was founded in 1824. The school of Architect was founded in 1824. There were 205 in the 1700's students graduate. The University of Virginia was completed in 1825. 

Do you know that student's classes are right above their rooms at the Historical Lawn (at U.V.A.) ? Their are about 20,000 people that currently attend U.V.A, University of Virginia. There are all sorts of classes at U.V.A, our Principle couldn't tell how many there are and he even went to school at UVA  

The University of Virginia doesn't look the same as it look like when Thomas Jefferson built it,they are working on U.V.A. right now. They are rerufing U.V.A. 

On Thomas Jefferson gravestone it read : Author of Declaration of Independence, Author of the Virginia Statue for Religious Freedom, and of the University of Virginia.
