Red, brown, yellow, black and white, Let's look at people on our site. We'll take a look at systems that make the body work, and learn that sometimes there might be some quirks. A heart may lose its ability to pump the blood it needs, Or a kidney no longer functions to its capacity. We'll learn about a hero who gave a gift of life, And even a recipient who was given a better life. Organ donation is an issue that many don't like to discuss; But hopefully after seeing this site you'll decide it might be a plus!

Why Lizards? You might be wondering how lizards have ended up in a web site about the human body and organ transplants. Lizards are animals that have had to change and adapt in order to survive. Where they live determines what they eat. Some lizards have scales to protect themselves; some can change colors to blend in with the land; and some burrow into the ground. Lizards are like our motto. They have blended in to survive, but each one is special. Besides, lizards are really neat!
