Giverny was Monet's garden and most
favorite place to work. At the edge of his garden he had a
pond that contained a Japanese bridge. His garden had some
of the most beautiful flowers in Paris. It consisted of many
wild and planted lilies, purple pansies, daisies and so much
more. In his pond there were gorgeous yellow, pink, and
white lilies. He drew these day after day. Even though his
garden was beautiful it took about three years to get every
single thing exactly the way Monet wanted it. His wife,
Camille, and his garden at Giverny were everything he
thought he would ever need.
