Sea otters are really very irresistable, because their faces are really cute.  Once people hunted them so much that they almost became extinct.  This is cool that they came back.

    They come from the weasel family.  They are also almost related to badgers, skunks, and minks.

    Sea otters are really skinny.  They have millions or more hairs on every square inch.  A German shephard only has 40,000.  Shellfish are the sea otters best tasting foods.  They like crabs, sea urchins, squid, snails, octapus, and fish, too.

    The Asian small-clawed otters live in Asia, southeast China, and southeastern China.  Their habitats are staying on land more than any other otters in the world.  Their diet is crabs, snails, crayfish, and frogs.  Their life span is 22 years.

    Sea otters mostly live in the water.  They live in sea water.
 
 

Land Otters

    Otters love to climb on their mothers and slide on mud.  They start from the top of the mountain and go skiing all the way down into the water and go play.

    They are experts at catching fish but the coyote will steal their food.  They don't seem to be afraid.
