3. If they say yes, write the script.
4. Get your script approved by your director, and practice your script.
5. When you have your script written and you know it, do the report.
6. Give the tape to the technical team so they can edit it and put it on the tape of the whole news show.

1. Do not wear plaid, stripes, or bright colors because it will make your audience dizzy.
2. Do not say "signing off" because you are not broadcasting live .
3. Never start a report with a stand up.
