The audio technician is the one who controls and picks the music.  She also makes sure the sound is ready to record on tape and controls the audio from tapes and the anchors.

    There are two major pieces of equipment for the audio technician. The first one is the CD/tape player so you can have music in the broadcast where ever you want it. The other is the sound mixer.  It controls the input from music, audio, and the anchors' microphone. These two pieces of equipment are also good to have for your broadcast if you want sound.
