Plants

Jute, deodar, dawn redwood, ginkgo, teak, pattan, and nutmeg are all plants of Southeast Asia, though that short list does not nearly cover all the plants of Southeast Asia. Sandalwood, raffleesia, betet palm, and rubber trees are also included in this category. Also included are bamboo trees, rice, turmeric, opium poppy, paduak, mango, tea, cinnamon, cotton, sugar cane, wheat, other crops. Without these plants, Asia surely wouldn't have survived as long as it has.
