Nicely done. The picture of St. Helens erupting was particularly compelling.
Did you know that ash from the eruption actually made it all the way around the world?
There still is evidence of it here in Eastern Washington. When the wind picks up, a layer of it is sometimes exposed and blown around. You can also see the layer in the hillsides where dirt has been removed for highways, etc.
We also had some slides in the Yakima River Canyon this spring and the ash layer was made visible then, too.
