| Plants are important to the balance of nature, for animals and people. Plants provide food, shelter, useful tools and products. Plants are very useful to humans. We eat many different types of plants. Some products are made from plants such as shampoos, rubber, paper, and camera film. Many animals use plants for shelter. Plants also provide animals with protection from predators. The destruction of different plants sometimes leads to animals becoming endangered. The orangutan is an endangered animal, part of the reason it is endangered is because the shortage of food. The destruction of the rain forest causes the shortage of food. People do not seem to care that the rain forest has a lot of rare animals and plants living in it. People do not understand all the damage that is happening to the rain forest. People that destroy the rain forest really do not seem to care about all the animals and plants that live there. |

Well, I hope that we are going to save the rain forest before it is too late. Where are the animals going to go after their home has been destroyed, or are there going to be any animals left? I think that it is important for children all over the world to learn about the rain forests. Destroying the rain forest is having a terrible impact on our environment, universe and everything else. |
| The trees are a good source of oxygen for us. People are cutting down trees for progress, but they are also destroying the habitat of animals and plants. If the trees continue to be cut down the animals and plants will disappear. If enough people learn about the rain forest being destroyed, maybe we can save them. When we study about the rain forest we learn that some of the plants make medicine for us. |

Rain forests are being destroyed. Plants and animals are disappearing
every day, how can we stop it? If we do not start saving the rain
forest the planet is going to be destroyed!
No forest, no future. |
