Before buying, you should really read a lot about the chameleon you want and ask yourself questions like, Do I have the right equipment to support the chameleon? There are a lot of different species of chameleon and you should research them all to fit the surroundings that you live in. For example: if you lived in the someplace that is hot and dry you should think of a chameleon that comes from a desert, or if you live in a very wet and humid place, you might want a chameleon that comes from the rainforests. So when you are thinking of getting a chameleon, make sure you research and try to match their habitat with yours.
