Mountain Dwarf Chameleons

Range:
This chameleon is found in the Middle-Eastern countries of Africa, but mostly in Tanzania.
Food:
These chameleons tend to be very picky eaters. Males enjoy sowbugs & moths, but they will sometimes eat crickets. Females on the other hand, will eat a wide vareity of insects. It is also very important to have a changing diet.
Temperature:
This species of chameleon is used to a temperatures from 60*F and 80*F. They rarely can handle temperatures a little bit above and below the normal ones. Also thay should be highly humidified; this is required.
Reproduction:
This chameleon is special because it doesn't lay eggs, it bears live young. The females will give birth to 5-12 baby chameleons somewhere between every 7-8 months.
Size:
The rudis chameleon itself is one of the smallest chameleons there are in the world today, reaching about 6-7 inches for both males and females.
Comparing Males And Females:
Both males and females of this species are relatively similar. However, the males have deeper blue & yellow colors than the females, they are mostly green.
