There are two main different ways to make designs. One of them is to line up a bunch of flares in a certain color and shape pattern. In order for this to work you must also time the explosion of the fireworks so that they explode at the same time while in the air.

    The other way is to take the colors, stars, and put them in a certain color pattern. The stars must be packed very tightly so that when the firework shoots off the stars don't get out of order.
