Pluto

Pluto was discovered in 1930 by an american scientist named Clyde Tombaugh. Pluto is in an eliptical orbit which causes it to get in front of Neptune sometime and become the second farthest from the sun. It takes Pluto 248 years to complete a revolution around the sun. It is thought that Pluto's diameter is less than 1900 miles which makes it very small indeed.Pluto's moon Charon is about one third of the planets size. Pluto is made up mostly of ice and rock. It is a very barren planet on which no life can survive.
