Jupiter
Jupiter is one of the nine planets of our solar system. It is the fifth planet from the sun. Jupiter is known as the "giant" of the solar system. Hydrogen and helium make up ninety-nine percent of the planet. The rest of the planet consists of a rocky core that is about the size of the planet Earth. One of the many mysteries of Jupiter is the Great Red Spot. This is a massive storm. No one knows how or why the storm started. A person first viewed the Great Red Spot over three hundred years ago. The atmosphere of Jupiter is constantly in motion. There are many different colored gases, which reveal the patterns of the strong winds.
