Japan:
Japan has existed ever since the Stone Age. The earliest Japanese were farmers, hunters, and gatherers. Jimmu was the mythical first emperor of Japan, and founded it. Always in Chinese, and Japanese history he two countries were could not be parted. But during World War II, Japan was always trying to get a hold of China’s main cities. In 1937, Japan was already in war with China. But in 1941, Japan enters World War II. The Prime minister of Japan at the time of World War II, was Hirohito. He was the son of the previous prime Minster, Yoshihito. During World War II, Japan was on the Axis Powers. Japan was also the country who bombed Pearl Harbor. This is what brought the United States into the war. After declaring war, the U.S. bombed Hirohima, and Nagasaki. This really hurt Japan and cost many lives. Japan surrendered in 1945, with all of the other Axis Powers. Japan (in 1986) was the leader in many of export goods. These are: commercial vehicles, crustacean and mollusk catch, men’s and boy’s suits, merchant vessels, passenger cars, television sets, transistors, and whale catch. Also just in the last winter Olympics, Nagano was where the games took place. Japan is now a prosperous country, and Allies with China.
