The major Axis country in World War Two was Germany. Germany is located in Europe by Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. In 1933, Adolph Hitler became n power of the depressed German people. They had been in a depression ever since the end of World War One. They wanted someone to lead them. Hitler stood up, promising the help they wanted. Who wouldn’t listen? On September 1, 1939, the Germans invaded Poland. This started the war. Germany was conquering the world until Dec. 8, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, the day the U.S. entered the war. This was the beginning of the end for Germany. Hitler committed suicide on April 30, 1945, leaving the Germans alone and depressed, just like in the beginning. They were in debt that to this day still exists, and the country was ruined.
