Alam el Halfa

Alam el Halfa was the first battle in North Africa. It put Alfa military to the test. Informed by ULTRA Montgomery, a military-help group, Rommel ("The Desert Fox") attacked. He was able to deduce that the attack should be from the south and an outflanking maneuver would be attempted. As he carefully got ready for defeat, Montgomery and the Eighth Army fought the hardest of the African corps. The Eighth Army won the battle.
