Human Losses

The people's deaths for the entire war did not fall the heaviest on the United States.  The United States unfortunately did have many deaths during World War II, but did not have as many deaths as Germany or USSR.  Luckily, the United States did not have any significant  civilian losses but did have around 300,000 battle deaths and 200,000 deaths from other causes.
