The Famous B-17  
    The B-17 bomber was one of the most famous bombers in World War II for the United States.  This amazing bomber gained its fame by for  its effective daytime surprise attacks on Germany.  The B-17 bomber, or also known as the "Flying Fortress" has  thirteen machine guns and got its nickname, Flying Fortress, because the B-17 was well equipped heavy armor and many guns.  Both of those weapons provided useful help in the attacks in many battles against enemy fighters.
