Aphrodite is the goddace of love. Legend is said that she was born from foam. She was married to Hephaistos.  Hephaistos gave Aphrodite a girdle that could make any man fall in love with her. Unfornetuly it worked. Because of the girdle, she had a love affair with Ares.
