Dear Journal

Today we are going through the treacherous land of the Rocky Mountains. Many people have died on this part of the trail by falling or getting sick. I'm glad we got here in the spring because it's impossible to go through in the winter. Man there is a lot of snow and it's almost summer! We are passing the tallest peak in the entire range. I'm afraid this is the last journal entry I'm going to make.
