We finally made it to Oregon. Thank you for taking such a big risk in trying to help us with our quest for new land. We struggled through starvation, hunger, death, illness, and a lot more other hardships. It is hard to believe that we made it across the country in a covered wagon and never stopped for more than a week. It was hard going through all these difficult times. It was a good experience for us.We learned how to handle nature and experience hard times. We are not living life indulgently like we used to.
