The positions are a goalie in the goal who tries to stop the other team from scoring. He is the only person that can touch the ball with their hands. Except win the ball is knocked out of bounds that is when you throw the ball in to your team. The defender is the person that tries to defend the goal. The midfielder is the person that plays on both sides of the field. The forward is the person that tries to score in the other teams goal. There are differant forward positions center forward, inside left, inside right, outside left and outside right is also called wings. There is differant midfielders they are also called halfbacks. There is a left, right and center halfbacks. The defenders are also called fullbacks there is a left and a right fullback. The goalie is also called a goal tender. There is a eleven players on the field for both teams.
