This story is about a boy named Jason. A man named Pelius (whom wants to take the throne from Jason's father Iolcus) swore by Zeus that the Golden Fleece would be returned to his kingdom. So Pelius says to Jason" Jason you are not worthy to be a king yet. You have to do something absolutely spectacular. Well anyway your father has been dying to get the Golden Fleece back. Why don't you go get it."So Jason goes on a Quest for the fleece. Jason did not know this but everyone that has tried to retrieve the fleece has died in the process. Pelius new this and sent him so that he, Pelius could have the throne. Jason commands that a ship be built for him. He called the ship Argo. And the fifty men he invited on his quest were called the argonauts. Jason, who was very religious prayed to Zeus that his trip would be successful. After many hard adventures and troubles they finally reach the land that possessed the golden fleece.A local king named Aietes said,'' If you can complete the tasks that I give you, You may have the fleece. But these tasks are very dangerous. Would you still like to have the fleece?'' Jason replied'' You can not scare me with your foolish tasks. I will do anything you wish me to do. This fleece means everything to my father.'' So Jason begins his tasks. In each one he succeeded. He had to yolk two fire breathing bulls and plow a large field; Then he would have to sow the field with dragon's teeth which would immediately turn into soldiers. He had to fight these men single handed. The kings daughter, a witch fell in love with Jason helped him through these tasks. He got the fleece and sailed back to Greece.
