The Sirens were all female.They were half-bird and half-woman. They called ships and sailors with their enchanting songs. They sent men sailing overboard, drowning to their deaths. Ulysses, another god, found a way to escape the Sirens by being tied to the mast of his boat and ordering his crew to plug his ears with wax when a Siren was spotted. The Sirens were very glamorous creatures, with their beautiful wings and their wonderful songs. The Sirens is a great tale to tell.
