Anne Frank
I am a prisoner in my own house.
It seems my diary is my only friend.
I look out my window and envy the children playing without out a care. That should be me!
I can hear the soldiers big boots stomping.
It scares me.
When will this nightmare end ?

Waiting
The days are short
yet the hours of waiting seem long,
soldiers march the streets placed with hate and war.
The soldiers seem so heartless
why cant they see this is wrong,
through my heart and memories
Hitlers cruel words tore,
again over and over these hateful words do roar.

And now a entry from the diary of Anne Frank
(Its one of my favorites!)
''Why should people have such a hard time on this earth?Everyone is human; everyone is born with a great deal of good in him. If only the whole world would realize we are all equal! No one need wait a moment; we can start now slowly changing the world!''
Anne frank, 1944
