Adolf Hitler was a German Leader Who Believed in purifying the German race. He sent German soldiers to arrest Jews and bring them to concentration camps. Concentration camps prison like areas where innocent victims were tortured and killed.The Holocaust or elimination of the jewish race was started by Hitler in the late 1930's and ended in 1945. Durring thisperiod of time millions of Jewish people including women and children were killed. Jewish families that wreable to get away safly would go into hidding. Anne Frank's family was part of a group that went into hidding.Though the diary of Anne Frank wrote while she was in hidding we have learned about some of a Jewish girls dayliy activities while in hidding.
