Anne Frank

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12, 1929. On Anne's thirteenth birthday she got the best birthday present ever. It was 1942 and Anne was living with her parents and her sister Margot. Anne received many gifts that day including books, a jigsaw puzzle and candy. But her favorite was given by her parents , it was a red and white checkered diary. Anne wrote in her diary every day after that. From Anne's diary we have learned most events and feelings of Anne Frank. Anne wrote every day and told her diary everything. Her last diary entry said that Anne was going into hiding on July 6th. Through Anne's diary millions of people learned what the persecution of the the Jews felt like through the eyes of a young sensitive girl.
