2) Conductors - people that helped on the Underground Railroad.

3) Harriet Tubman - a black conductor who was once a slave.

4) Quaker - member of a Christian group called the Society of Friends who opposed war and taking oaths.

5) Slavery - a person who is in property of another person.

6) Stations - hiding places on the Underground Railroad.

7) Stations Masters - a person who is in charge of a railroad station.

8) Abolitionists - white and free blacks who wanted to abolish slavery.

9) Emancipate - to set free from slavery or strict control
