hiking boots aluminum, alloy,or steel
toe clips with heal cables same as light-touring
poles but with basket diameter of
41/2in.-6in. Light-Touring 165cm to 185cm;2-4cm
sidecut cut at ankle like men's,
some with groove at heel Aluminum, alloy, or
plastic toe clips shafts larger than racing,
baskets 4in. in diameter Ski
Mountaineering over 180-200cm; 9-12cm
sidecut single or double-layer
mountaineering boots, often with lug
sole for use with
mountaineering boots. Some models have alpine type
release features shafts stronger than
touring poles, baskets over 5in. in diameter
