Sharks eat lots of different things but it all depends on where they live. The sharks that live in open waters eat mainly fish, squid, marine mammals, and other sharks. The sharks that are bottom dwellers eat mainly clams, crabs, sea urchins and other animals that live on the ocean floor. There's not a lot of food on the bottom because there's not enough light. These sharks have to forage for food.
