Shrimp can be found in all
the oceans of the world. Some live near the shore, these shrimp hide
in the mud all day and come out at night to eat. Others swim in cold,
deep ocean waters in large groups. A shrimp is an animal that
has small eyes,claws,and feelers. Shrimp are different colors and
some can change their body color to blend with the surroundings.
Shrimp can be less than 1 inch while others can be as long as 1 foot.
Small shrimp eat plankton while the larger shrimp eat foods found
on the ocean floor. A female can lay 500,000 to 1,000,000 eggs.
