Seals
live mosty in the Northern Hemisphere. The largest kind of seal is
the elephant seal. It can grow to be as large as 21 feet long and
could weigh 8,000 pounds. The smallest seal is the ringed seal of
the Artic. This Artic seal is about 4 1/2 feet long and weighs around
200 pounds. Seals are very graceful in the water but seem clumsy
on land. Seals usually have 1 pup, the pup can swim or travel on land as
soon as they are born. Seals are hunted.
