Eels are long fish which
resemble snakes. They live and swim in most of the worlds oceans
and some rivers. There are 20 different types of eels.
Eels that live in salt water are called conger eels and moray eels.
The moray eels are fierce eels that live in and around coral reefs.
Eels are usually about 3 feet long but can grow to be about 6 feet long
and weigh about 110 pounds. A female eel lays eggs to produce young.
