Hello, my name is Kara, and I am a member of the ThinkQuest Jr. Program. I am 11 years old and attend Enchanted Lake Elementary School in Kailua. I am in the 5th grade. I like to read and write, listen to music and try new things on the computer. I enjoy working with the computer like on America Online, and collaborative projects such as the Marsville and Lokahi projects.

Participating in the ThinkQuest Project has been such a memorable time for my peers and me. In ThinkQuest I have learned new things about technology and graphics. I have learned that this was a system, and if one person doesn't contribute, the system will fall apart. I also had fun working with my friends. We knew this program was special and we were overjoyed to be here. We learned how important it is to get along and work together.

My contributions to the "Mars Madness" website are the Mars Test, creating the certificates, drawings, interview, postcards, stamps, and the banners.

The hardest part about being in the ThinkQuest Project was being patient. Believe me, the program took a lot of patience. We had to wait for the computer to save and the graphics to work, the typos to fix and etc. We couldn't have done this without Mr. Kubo and Mrs. Kanemori who guided us through the rough times and laughed with us through the fun times. I really enjoyed the ThinkQuest Program.
