The Easiest Way to Teach Your Dog Tricks!

Everybody wants his or her dog to be perfect. Well, you`ve come to the right place. This site is the perfect place to come if you want to teach your dog tricks. We are going to teach you how to teach your dog how to "Sit", "Stay", "Come", "Down", "Sit Up" and "Bow".  All of these commands will make your dog #1.

Sit-You can make your dog sit by gripping the leash tightly and pressing down on the hindquarters. After this step, command, "Sit". If your dog does not sit, press down a little harder, and your dog should sit.

Stay-To make your dog stay, unsnap the leash and slowly back away, commanding "Stay!" as you move away. (Tip: You should try this inside first, so your dog does not run away.)

Come-Making your dog come is easy. All you have to do is squat down and command, "Come!" Motion to your dog to come by waving your hands in an inviting way.

Down-To make your dog stay down, your dog has to jump up, so it will know why it is getting scolded. You can tell it not to jump up by swatting the dog, but not really hard, or the dog will get aggressive. You just need to hit the dog hard enough that it knows that it is getting scolded and when it is not.

Sitting up-Sitting up is easier for small dogs because of their short legs. Longer legged types of breeds probably will not be able to do this because of their long bodies. You can make your dog sit up by making them sit. Then put your arm out in front of them and put the dog`s front legs on your arm. After your dog gets the hang of this, remove your arm and see how long the dog can stay in this position.

Bowing-Bowing is a simple trick. To do this trick you must put the dog in the sitting position. Then press gently on its back, right behind its head, while holding your hand under the dog`s belly, and commanding "bow." Do not let it go into the laying position.

Training Not to Bite

Every dog has a natural urge to bite. You should punish your dog by either holding it by the scruff of the neck, or hold its mouth shut and tell the dog not to bite. Eventually, the dog will know not to bite. Some other things to teach your dog are not to growl, snarl, or bark at anything. After all the punishment is over, do not praise the dog, or the dog will continue to do the unwanted behaviors.
