Why They do Things
By: Steven

When is your dog aggressive? To find this out, look at your dog. Is he standing as tall as he possibly can? Are his teeth showing? Is his tail straight up? Are his ears back? If so, he probably does not want anyone near him, or he might attack you. Is your dog`s head up, mouth open, ears stiff and back? If your dog looks like this, you have cornered your dog by mistake, and he could charge you. This fact is probably the most important, because somebody could get hurt if you are not paying attention. If your dog is hunkered down, his back is straight, he is snarling, his fur is straight up on his back, and his back is straight, he is most likely going to attack you. I suggest you get something between you and your dog so he cannot get at you. If he does get around the object, start running in circles around the object until your dog wears down. Fear - If your dog constantly runs away with his tail underneath his legs, hair standing up, his tail is straight, and he is trying to make himself small, he probably does not like something about you, such as, if you lock him in a kennel all day while you are home. Domination - Usually when you see domination, two dogs face-off. They have many facial expressions, such as growling, snarling, and snapping their teeth at each other. One of a dog`s favorite things to do is to PLAY! You can tell if they are playing by looking at them. If they have their head down, hind quarters up, and its tail is wagging, it is looking for play.
