Bird: A bird is an animal that has a backbone and is warm blooded. They have wings and feathers and can fly. All birds hatch from eggs. After they hatch they stay in the nest that there mother has made for them for many weeks. No other animal can travel as well as the bird. Some examples of birds are a bald eagle, a ruby-throated hummingbird, a barn owl, and a great cormorant.
