This turtle is quite unlike other turtles. It can move very quickly, which makes it a rare pet in pet stores. Bog Turtles seldom grow over 4½ inches long. These speedy little guys live in large, yet quiet, marsh areas, as well as in wet meadows.  The Bog Turtle's diet consists mainly of insects, small crustaceans and shellfish.
