Many people as we know are afraid of snakes. You shouldn’t be afraid of snakes unless they are poisonous snakes. Some poisonous snakes are not as dangerous as others are. Some poisonous snakes can kill you. The King Snake’s venom from one bite can kill one hundred men. Although King Snakes are not the biggest snakes in the world, their bite is the worst.

 

Most snakes are not poisonous. Sometimes people are even afraid of them. The largest snake in the world, the Anaconda isn’t poisonous. I think that is pretty weird. What people don’t know is that, the snakes are more afraid of them than they are of the snakes. Non-poisonous snakes are not dangerous, but their bites can hurt. When they bite you, you will probably hurt, but you can’t die from their bite. Non- poisonous snakes live almost everywhere.

 

Most people think that snakes are slimy, but they're wrong. Snakes actually feel like shoe leather rather than a tongue. So many people think that the snakes will chase after them. The snakes wouldn’t do that though because they are shy and timid animals. They tend to their own business, unless they are fighting another snake. Also snakes are not mean animals, they just bite to protect themselves. Sort of like dogs do. Finally snakes are not fast at all. The fastest snake in Missouri can’t run faster than a human.

 

Snakes are meat eaters but do not eat or sometimes don’t attack humans. They mostly eat mice and rats and other small animals they find in their habitat. Snakes won’t attack humans unless the humans are trying to capture them or threatening their life. Venomous snakes, while being captured bite people in the US.
