Salamanders
are shy suspicious creatures. They live in damp and wet places. Their skin is
very sensitive so they need a lot of moisture to protect the skin.
They have a diet of usually insects, arachnids, and other small animals. Their skin
comes in many different colors. Especially purple, green, black, and white.
The salamander's young are called larve. The larve look a lot like tadpoles but much smaller. The female salamanders carry their young until the young grows at least two legs or arms. Out of the entire amphibian catergory, salamanders are the only ones that have tails as adults. They resemble lizards a lot, but salamanders have a lot more moisture than them.
