Sawfish

A sawfish resembles a shark but is actually a type of ray. Sawfish have a strange elongation of the snout that ends up in a flat sword with large rows of teeth. It is found in tropical waters and can go moderate distances in rivers.

Sting ray

Sting rays are animals that dwell on the bottom of the sea floor. They are cartilaginous animals with a flattened body. There are a few stout spines on their tail and they have gill slits on the bottom of their head. They have teeth altered into two big smashers and they have no dorsal fin.

Electric Ray

This Ray lives in warm seas and gets its name from the electric rays it sends out. It gives the electric rays from the back of its head from the gills that are there. It is also known as a torpedo ray. The electric currents are used to stun small fish in order to defend itself. It is not known how the electric organs in this fish become charged. A full grown torpedo fish can stun a man with it’s electric ray.
