H.G. WELLS
H.G. Wells was born in England in 1866 and grew up to be an  author, biology teacher, and social thinker.  He wrote wonderful stories that were science fiction.  They include, "The Time Machine," and "The War of the Worlds."  Wells finally got a little realistic when he wrote "Kipps," and "Tono-Bungay."  In "the Shape of Things To Come" Wells used a negative outlook.  One of his most famous books was "Outline of History." H.G. Wells sadly died in 1946.
