ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON
(1850-1894)
Robert
Louis Stevenson was born in Scotland on November 13, 1850. In his
childhood, Stevenson suffered from a lung disease. As he grew older,
this developed into tuberculosis. Stevenson experimented with many
jobs before he found that his love was for writing. His most famous
books he wrote were, "Treasure Island", "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyl
& Mr. Hyde",
"Kidnapped", "David
Balfour", "The Master of Ballantree", "The Wrong Box", "The Wrecker" and,
"The Ebb Tide." In 1894, Stevenson's writing career ended upon is
early death.
