For once, Mossflower Woods was peaceful and the mice were gathering to celebrate.  All was fun and games until rumor was spread that peace was coming to an end.  A terrible rat named Cluny and his crew were coming to make war with the Redwall Abbey.  Matthias, an apprentice, steps up to lead Redwall in a fight for peace once again.  If you like fantasies or battle stories, you'll love Redwall.
