In "Number the Stars," ten year old Annamarie Johanansen has to help her Jewish friend, Ellen survive the Nazis in World War 2. The Nazis were marching through her city of Copenhagen.  Annamarie must go on a mission to protect her friend, Ellen.  This story is a great historical fiction and thriller.
